ASAIHL Leadership Meets Sri Lankan Ambassador to Discuss Higher Education Collaboration

BANGKOK, THAILAND On September 8, 2025, the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) took a significant step toward deepening its engagement with Sri Lankan universities following a key meeting with H.E. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand.

The meeting was attended by the ASAIHL Secretary-General (SG) and the Emeritus Secretary-General. It focused on initiatives aimed at strengthening the connections and fostering greater collaboration between the Association and higher education institutions across Sri Lanka.

ASAIHL, an international non-governmental organization, promotes high-quality education, research, and cultural exchange among its member institutions. This strategic dialogue with Ambassador Edirisinghe marks a renewed effort to integrate more Sri Lankan universities into ASAIHL's collaborative network.
